Tamarack Lodge

Although Tamarack Lodge does not offer pet-friendly rooms in the Lodge, the cabins that make up the majority of their accommodations do. Tamarack Lodge is located a little further away from the center of Mammoth Lakes but is also closer to Mammoth Mountain and excellent walking trails.

Specifically, Tamarack Lodge welcomes up to 2 pets with a maximum weight of 100 lbs. Guests lodging with pets will be charged and additional $30 per night for each pet staying with them along with a $200 refundable deposit.

The Westin Monache Resort

If you’re looking to treat yourself and your dog, then book a stay at the Westin Monache Resort where you’ll have a resort to relax in and plenty of trails and lakes to explore nearby. When staying at the Wesitn Monache Resort, you and your dog will enjoy the excellent amenities and your pup will even be given their own bed, food bowl, water bowl, and food mat to enjoy their stay with.

The Westin Monache Resort does not charge any additional fees for two dogs of up to 50 lbs. Dogs are the only accepted pets, and they cannot be left unattended in the rooms or let of their leash when on the resort grounds.

Motel 6 Mammoth Lakes

The Mammoth Lakes Motel 6 is a great value with a location that puts everything Mammoth Lakes has to offer within reach. Even better, Motel 6 does not charge any fees for pets to stay with you and has no weight restrictions for your furry friends!

Best Western Plus High Sierra Hotel

The Best Western Plus High Sierra Hotel has been popular in Mammoth Lakes for years thanks to good value, great location, and a wide range of amenities to make your stay more comfortable. On top of that, the hotel was recently renovated to better serve guests in and out of their rooms.

If you’re booking a night here with your dog, then your room choices will be limited to a two queen bed room located on the second and first floor of the motel where 2 dogs will be welcome. Dogs must be in their crates when left in the room alone and you will be charged an additional fee of $35 a night. The Best Western also supplies dog specific amenities to guests with dogs.

Outside of Mammoth Lakes

If you’re unable to find a room in Mammoth Lakes, then Bishop is a great option as long as you have some form of transportation to travel between the two towns.

The Vagabond Inn allows two pets for an additional fee of $15 per night for each pet.
