Where to Find Discounted Mammoth Mountain Lift Tickets

Discounted Lift Tickets for Mammoth Mountain

Between the stunning natural beauty and refreshing mountain air, there are countless reasons to visit Mammoth Lakes. Of course, the main reason so many people come back year after year is that there’s so much to do outside that it’s impossible to do it all in one trip.

The Mammoth Bound team wants everyone to enjoy Mammoth Lakes as much as we do, but we can’t create more time for you to enjoy everything Mammoth has to offer. What we can do is show you how to save money during your visit so that you can enjoy as many activities as possible while you’re in town. We’ve started here by putting together a short guide to where to find discounted Mammoth Mountain lift tickets. Check it out below and save on your next trip to Mammoth Mountain!

Ski Passes at Liftopia

As many outdoor activities as there are to do in Mammoth Lakes, there are even more websites that claim to offer discounted lift tickets. You don’t have to look through them all though, because Liftopia is the best discount ticket site of them all.

Just about every site will offer some discounted lift tickets, but none offer tickets to as many mountains as Liftopia. Not only does Liftopia offer discounted lift tickets to mountains all over the world, but they do so with user-friendly tools that make it easy to find the best tickets available for your specific visit. One of the best tools is the blackout calendar that allows you to easily see blackout days and when discounted lift tickets are available for the mountain you’re visiting. They also offer larger discounts the more days you stay as well as discounted bundles like lift ticket and rental packages.

If you find the perfect deal on Liftopia, then make sure that you have a valid driver’s license when you visit the ticket office to redeem them. If you have any questions about how to redeem your Liftopia tickets, check Liftopia’s site or with Mammoth Mountain for more information about what they recommend.

Buy Your Ski Pass at REI

If you’re like us, then you already buy way too much at REI. Why not add lift tickets to the list?

Unlike Liftopia, REI’s discounted lift tickets are subject to availability, so there may not always be discounted lift tickets to Mammoth Mountain. However, the discounts are good enough that it’s always worth the few clicks it takes to check out their site. The specifics of the deal may also change depending on what’s available, and you should also be aware of blackout dates that could affect ticket availability.

Lastly, you must be an REI member to buy discounted lift tickets, but a REI lifetime membership only costs $20 and gives you access to deals and great gear all year round.

Discounted Lift Tickets at Costco

You probably don’t think of Costco as a place to find discounted lift tickets, but if you look at the right time of year at Costco stores near Mammoth Mountain then you can find seriously discounted tickets on their shelves.

Like REI, you must be a member to buy lift tickets at Costco and their stock depends on availability. Plus, just like everything else that Costco sells, they sell their lift tickets in bulk. As a result, it’s unlikely that you’ll find single lift tickets here. You will also have to validate your ticket at the mountain just like with Liftopia. Call ahead to the Costco stores closest to Mammoth Mountain to see if they’re currently selling Mammoth Mountain lift tickets or check their site online.
