It may be the snowiest year on record for Mammoth Mountain, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate like spring is finally here.
Skiing and snowboarding at Mammoth Mountain are predicted to go until at least July, but the events that typically mark the beginning of the end of the season are still happening this April.

Come see how far you can push yourself while skinning up Mammoth Mountain!
The Caldera Burn invites regular and elite athletes to get in the backcountry spirit by hiking from Canyon Lodge to the summit multiple times. Find registration information at the link above.
June Mountain Closing Weekend 2023 4/8 – 4/9
June Mountain may be the smaller sister mountain of Mammoth, but there is a ton of fun to be had on its slopes before the season wraps up.
You only have until the 8th to see what we mean though, so head to June to get in on the festivities and great skiing and snowboarding before it’s too late.
Every day at Mammoth is worth celebrating, so it’s no surprise that when Easter rolls around the Mammoth team goes all out.
There will be a make your own bunny ears workshop at Canyon and Main Lodge from 11 am to 1 pm followed by an Easter parade in the village at 4 pm. In between Wooly and his friends will be skiing to celebrate the holiday!
The ski season winding down is always sad, but the Mammoth Mountain Pond skim is the silver lining.
Watch costumed participants skate across ice cold water near Canyon Lodge or join them if you’re brave enough!
