Read on for a rundown of everything you need to know about the Ikon Base Pass, brought to you by the friendly team from Mammoth Bound, where you can find everything from beanies and gaiters to stylish Mammoth apparel.

Base Pass Prices

According to the Mammoth website, Ikon Passes for the 2022–23 season are now available for purchase. The listed price for the Base Pass is $769 for adults 23 and older. If you’re renewing your Base Pass for the next season, the cost is $719. Additional Base Pass options include:

• Young adults 13–22: $579
• Children 5–12: $299
• Children 4 and under: $99

If you buy your Ikon Base Pass from the Ikon website, there are military, nurse, and college discounts available. If you’re eligible for this discount, the cost is $569. This discount is valid for the adult and young adult passes only.

Base Pass Perks

Whether you’re purchasing an Ikon Base Pass for the first time or renewing your current pass for another season, there are several benefits you’ll get for your investment. These include:

• 30 limited destinations
• Exclusive on-mountain discounts
• 44 unique locations
• 13 unlimited destinations

With the Base Pass, you’ll also have the option to upgrade to the Ikon Base Plus Pass. With just the Base Pass, blackout dates apply.

Other Ikon Pass Options for Your Consideration

There are some other Ikon Pass options you’re welcome to consider. You can also make these purchases via the Mammoth site or from the Ikon website. For the regular Ikon Pass, the cost is $1,079 for adults and $979 for an adult renewal pass. With this pass, there are no blackout dates, and you have more options with destinations. 

If you’re not a regular visitor to places like Mammoth Mountain, you can still benefit from Ikon Pass perks with the Ikon Session Pass. Adult session passes start at $249. These passes come with two-day, three-day, and four-day options. Blackout dates apply.
